JANUARY 2002 (Austin, Texas) - The third annual benefit for the Austin
Conspiracy of Performing Songwriters at the Live Oak Coffeehouse is scheduled
for Friday, January 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the Live Oak Unitarian Universalist
Church in Northwest Austin.
Admission is a suggested donation of $10 at the door. Gourmet coffee and
pastries will be served, and are included in the price of admission. Live Oak
Coffeehouse season passes will not be honored for this show.
As always, the concert will be smoke-free and alcohol-free, putting the
emphasis on the music and the musicians.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the show will be used to pay
expenses associated with attending the annual Folk Alliance conference. The
14th annual International Folk Alliance Conference is scheduled for February
21-24, 2002, in Jacksonville, Fla. For more information on the North American

Scheduled to perform at the January 25 show are Karen Mal, Jeff Talmadge,
Edge City, Dave Hooper, Jeff Tveras, Danny Santos, Paul Sanchez and Marilyn
Rucker. Special guests will also appear.
Doors open at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 25, at the Live Oak Unitarian
