Dear Live Oak Coffeehouse subscriber:

Austin Kessler here.  As you probably know from previous
correspondence, the Live Oak Coffeehouse concert series is taking a
hiatus and its future is uncertain.  This email is to inform you
that, as an alternative venue, Connie (my wife) and I have started
hosting occasional house concerts.

On Saturday, January 19th we are hosting our second show. This one is
with a Dallas-based trio called Beatlegras. As the name suggests,
they perform fabulous bluegrass renditions of Beatles tunes. They are
also songwriters and perform some original tunes. They have a huge
following in the Dallas area and regularly perform at large venues
seating as many as 1700 people! But they are relatively unknown in
Austin and have agreed to perform in our house in order to build an
audience. If you are a fan of bluegrass music, the Beatles, or (like
us - both!!), then this show is not to be missed! Great songs, great
harmonies, great arrangements, all performed in an intimate setting.

We only have room for about 50 people or so and are anticipating a
sell-out crowd for this show. So if you are planning to attend,
please go ahead and drop a check in the mail ASAP! Donation of $12 in
advance and $15 at the door. Make checks payable to Beatlegras and
mail to our address at the bottom of this email.
