Subject: The Tallis Scholars - St John's Smith Square, London - 8th March 2006
Dear TVEMF member,
On Saturday we had a very successful workshop given by Andrew Carwood of the
Tallis Scholars. Coincidentally, I have been asked to publicise their
forthcoming concert and I append the details below.
I do not envisage that I shall be sending many similar emails, as I am wary of
being accused of sending junk mail. I get around 40 such emails a day send to me
as chairman of TVEMF so I know how annoying it can be. However to avoid me
sending you any similar emails simply send me a reply asking to be removed from
the list. On one previous occasion I send out an email to selected
instrumentalists about a playing opportunity so you might care to distnguish
between performance opportunities or concerts but I stress that these emails
will be infrequent. An email with the content saying REMOVE will remove you from
all lists REMOVE CONCERTS wll remove you from any concert mailing. Incidentally
we already have a mechanism to allow people to opt out of paper mail but you
have not opted out.
Best regards
David Fletcher
