Dear Kanjee,Why don't you start by coming along to one of the Society of
Recorder Players Meetings. You can have an afternoon's playing under relaxed
circumstances, meet other recorder players, make friends and perhaps make
arrangements to play with people with whom you get on well. The next London
Branch meeting is on 17th January at the Napier Hall, Hide Place, off Vincent
Square SW1 (Westminster) . Pimlico station on the Victoria line is 5 minutes
walk from there. We meet at 2:30 and finish at 5:30, Our next meeting will be
conducted by Helen Hooker a very lively young lady. Contact Bob Horsley for this
one 020 8693 4319The next North London Branch Meeting is on 7th February at St
George's and All Saints Church or Church Hall in Crayford Road, Tuffnell Park N7
0ND. They also start at 2:30.Nearest station is Tuffnell Park on the Northern
Line about 15 minutes walk but parking is not usually a problem if you prefer to
come by car.Just bring your
recorders and a music stand. All music is provided. You can join as a visitor
(about £2 I think which includes tea.) or if you like it take out an annual
membership. Contact Sue Selwood for details of this one _sueselwood@ gmail.com_

people turning up of a range of ages and abilities.Check out the Web Site
