Dear all,
I have just found out that this concert is now sold out. Apologies to
anyone disappointed: all I can suggest is that you consider booking in
advance for concert of French Baroque music for Soprano, Cello and
Harpsichord on Thursday 21st. May and the chamber versions of Bach's
organ trios to be performed on Thursday 25th. June.
With best wishes,
William Summers.
Not me this time, but recommended!
William Summers.
Hello,
I would like to very cordially invite you to one of my first solo
concerts in Central London! Are you free on Friday, June 5th, 7pm? I
hope you will join me for an evening of secular music with divine
contents... Dowland, Monteverdi, Gluck and Handel all composed
wonderful music, often based on Greek myths. I will be performing in
the roles of a singer as well as storyteller/actress, bringing this
fabulous music to life with help of the acclaimed harpsichordist
Robert Aldwinckle.
Entry is free of charge but donations will be most appreciated.
Please forward this info to anyone who might be interested!
Many thanks!

Dear William,
This project sounds wonderful & I'd love to be involved as a recorder player
with a strong interest in dance, but I am concerned about the time & cost
commitments. How much would it cost (I'm a pensioner) & would it matter if I
was not able to make every single session? I would not miss any sessions
casually but there are family problems (elderly mother) which I might not be
able to get out of/ignore.

Dear Sue,
Unfortunately, the College has told me that there are no concession
available for this course. From a musical point of viw, I am sure that
we could work around any urgent other commitments: you could, for
example, concentrate on the music rehearsed while when you were
present and conside the rest as optional.
We need musicians, and I hope to see you at Morley College.
With best wishes,
William Summers.
