Hi and welcome to the cooler,
I think a good way to go about this is to check the online sellers
(WWBW, Tuba Exchange, etc. and see what your brand of euph sells for
there. The dings and dents, of course, will lower the value, well as
the age.
Check out Ebay and see what euphs of your level are selling for (I
saw a Yammie 642 with a starting price of $2500, and I'm sure it
will sell for much higher...about half the new price of that brand
of horn).
Finally, ask yourself just what you would be comfortable selling
your horn for. If you are looking to upgrade (which I'm not sure
what you WOULD upgrade from a 967), that needs to be taken in
consideration. If you are dropping out of playing altogether, I'd
suggest selling the instrument on Ebay, set a minimum price to start
and let it go to the highest bidder. You might be surprised at what
you get for it.
Good luck!
Ken F.
