I need some help about some albums that I'm
interested in. You see I'm stuck between buying 'From the
Hip' by Section 25 or 'Bloodline' by Recoil. I can
only buy one for the moment and I'm not sure which to
go for.

I am asking if anyone here knows
whether Recoil is any good or not. Recoil is Alan Wilder,
who used to be in Depeche Mode. I am thinking of
buying his 'Bloodline' album, so does anyone out there
have it, and if so, is it any good? I know Toni sings
on it, so that's a bonus point.

I never liked
Depeche Mode much, I liked the music parts, but I found
the lyrics very silly sometimes, and I never took to
Martin Gore or Dave Gahan. I know bits of Recoil's stuff
will sound like DM, of course it would, it was Alan
Wilder who gave them their sound, but I have heard most
his solo stuff is very much different to DM, is
it?

I know his later albums are much more experimental,
that is why I'm going for 'Bloodline' first, if I do
buy it.

The same goes for Section 25, does
anyone know here if they are any good. I'm going for
their 'From the Hip' album, so if anyone knows about
it, please tell me what it's like. I've heard their
lead singer has a nasal whine of a voice, is this
true, or is it just some reviewer trying to justify his
bad review of them? Who can they be compared to
musically?

I want an honest opinion from you helpful people,,
which is better Section 25's 'From the Hip' or Recoil's
'Bloodline? And more importantly, which would u choose if u
only had the money to buy the one?

Thank You
again for all your help,

Jay
