Hi there,

I am using a gameboy transferer (1) with 2 gameboy smart cartridges (32m)
I am successfully able to upload a several different lsdj versions to my (formatted) cartridges.
Any lsdj version that I upload works how it should.

The problem is that when I try tu upload my .sav file to the cartridge.
In the transferer software there seems to no problem uploading this.
But when I start up the cartridge in my gameboy, none of my songs are there. Empty cartridge with a working lsdj, also nice but I'd love to open my old songs.

Should the sav file have a special name when I upload it, or just game.sav like I downloaded it from the card?

What am I doing wrong?

If there is a previous post about this toppic, sorry for repeating the question and please refer me there.

Thanks
Ronnie

Hi there.

I got a hold of a BUNG xchanger, one 64M doctor gb card and two 16M doctor gb
cards.
I´m using GBX tool v1.8 on a windows xp.
My xchanger is using 6 AAA duracel batteries.

I managed to upload one copy of LSDJ on the 64M card, but every time I try to
upload 4 copies it shows "no data" when I turn on the gameboy.
Maybe because I didn´t rename the extra copies... does anyone knows where can I
get Hebe GB or how to make a multicart menu????

When I try to write one copy of LSDJ on the 16M cards it shows
write eeprom error! 0
What does it means???

Thanks
Dimitri

Hi there!

Could somebody here please give me the xp software for the GB transferer 1.

On Rob webb's webpage I can only find the software for the Transferer 2.
The software works good with downloading the .sav file but I can put any files
to the card. Which I could do with the old software.

Anyone, please !

That sounds pretty reasonable, I can borrow a camera tomorrow. There's one of

I don't know if you have a decent camera, but if so, what about you
taking of *your* cartridge, and let us look for the place where the

Don't think my previous message actually posted...so...

The picture isn't bad actually, but what I *think* I need to see (your
board is a little different than mine, is it 64M? Mine is 16M) is
hidden by the sticker...do you think you could unscrew the back and
slide off the front plastic half and take a pic from the same angle?
I've done it on mine, quite easy. (slides off.) It's just that the
front plastic/sticker is in the way. I'd like to see basically the
same area though.

Thank you so much as this has already been helpful...hopefully I can
get the monkey off my back and finally fix this thing. E-merger owners
are rare, that's for sure. Shame as it's quite a good device. Had my
battery not died (and my carelessness not set in) I'd still be using it.

Can you describe what kind of problems you're having with yours? Is it
computer/copier based or is the cart itself failing?

This is slightly off-topic but it could REALLY, REALLY help me out
(hard to find owners of Emergers sadly)...

Do you think there's any possibility you could take a picture of the
PCB showing beside the battery? (on the right side.) There's just one
screw on the back and it's an easy open.

Story is: I had tried to do a battery replacement but accidentally
popped out a small component off the board (resistor/capacitor?) and I
can't tell which spot it came from. There's two empty places where it
could've been. And it's been impossible to find a picture of the pcb
for a reference.

If you could possibly upload a picture to imageshack/photobucket or
other it would greatly help me out :) I've been looking for around a
year now.

What do you mean, about to give up the ghost? Do you think it's the
cart or interface?

thanks

Hi.
How does one go about transferring a goomba .sav onto a cart with a "real"
version of LSDj?

I've tried importing the goomba .sav as a v.2x file in the LSDj Manager but
doesn't work.

Cheers,
tRasH

Hi group. I recently received my GB Transferer 2 and GB SMART CARD
(32M) from hkems.com.

I'm interested in putting LSDJ on the cartridge, but I'm having
difficulty figuring it out.

First, no one's asked about Windows Vista in this group yet (at least
not that I can find from searching); I'm assuming that's because the
answer for Vista is "No effin' way"? :) I've seen some suggestion that
not even XP will work? Anyway, my first attempts have been in Vista.
I'm running the "GB Smart Writer" program from the CD that came with
the Transferer (CD:\GBv2.3.5 (2k XP)\GBSWPRE.EXE).

I've tried running the program as Administrator, and in a variety of
compatibility modes (including Windows 98). Same results regardless.
The trouble starts as soon as I double-click the executable. I get an
error messagebox that says "Access violation at address 772DA530 in
module 'ntdll.dll'. Write of address 0045EB80". But after clicking OK
on the messagebox, the program does seem to open OK. (I can
successfully "Open File(s)" and browse to the lsdj.gb file that I
purchased from littlesounddj.com.)

But, that being said, the "Status" at the bottom says "Error 452:
connection problems" the whole time. I've jiggled the cables (USB
power and serial connection), disconnected and reconnected them a few
times, and started and restarted the program a few times. No matter
what I do, I can't seem to get G.B. Smart Writer to see the Smart
Card. When I click Download or Upload, I get a "Please insert Smart
Card, Try Again!" message.

I've verified that the port selected in GB Smart Writer ("LPT1
(378H)") seems to match my "Printer Port (LPT1)" in Device Manager
("I/O Range: 0378 - 037F").

Any other ideas?

Thanks very much in advance,

Michael

Hi everybody,

There aren't the normal Drums sounds; All sounds from Drums instrument get different sound from my original
sessions (running BGB on Windows)

Is anyone get similar problem and get a solution about it ?

Thanks for answering if u know it

Does Transferer or Transferer 2 work for OSX? I'm trying to make my
own cartridge (or buy one if anyone is selling) that'll run on my Game
Boy Color. If there is a way to make one of these with a Mac, please
lemme know. I'm confused as to where I hook up that big 26 pin plug
which exists on the Transferer, 'cause its sure not gonna fit in my
firewire port. If someone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hi.
I've tried LSDj on a GBA SP with a supercard SD. To be able to save I need to
first save using the goomba shell and then save using the supercard shell. That
works for me.

Cheers,
tRasH

--------------------------------
             Hi there,

I know that Super Card, Goomba and LSDJ Saving Issues have been a

topic here before. However, I have spent a considerable amount of time

reading older messages on this list and in other message boards and

did not find a solution.

I got my hands on a Super Card SD to run LSDJ on my Nintendo DS. I

have upgraded the Super Card Software to Firmware 1.85 which includes

the latest version of Goomba Colour. I've tried various Goomba

versions of LSDJ and also the normal ones. Unfortunately, I am not

able to save. I realize that the normal LSDJ Save method will not work

in Goomba. However, the standard methods for saving won't work on

supercard as well. I also tried to manually load a Goomba or Goomba

color roms with LSDJ incoorperated.

Has anyone managed to run LSDJ on Super Card SD with an option to save

at least one save state / song? If so, could you please give me a

detailed description what you did and which versions of the super card

firmware / Goomba / LSDJ you use?

Many thanks in advance

oko

Wow, so I'd have to get a new motherboard just to use this on my
computer? There's no way around this at all? Seems like an
incredibly shoddy design. I guess I could try getting a crappy old
laptop, just to use this thing.

If you get a parallel PCI card, you will never be able to use it with the transferer.  Unless you use win98.  Or win ME.. winxp will not allow you to assign it the resources required to run the transferer software.
