Did anyone ever buy one of these? I was pretty intrigued, but a
combination of the manufacturer's terrible english and the rather
Stalinist removal of any discussion of the cart on 8bc meant more
details were hard to come by.

The Smartboy cart is pretty much a ripoff of the GB cart flasher.
(Using the same hardware layout and microcontroller firmware)
<http://www.ziegler.desaign.de/readplus.htm#GB_Flasher>
It's using the same flash chip as the BleepBloop cartridges. As such
it should work the same way, assuming there are no hardware flaws that
could degrade performance. (Too slow RAM, missing filter caps, badly
designed PCB layout that will cause interference/leak capacitance
problems)
From what I hear they work pretty well, and it should be compatible
with my mysterious LittleFM software. (Shameless self promotion)

As I see it, you have two options.
1. Have patience and listen through the previous phrases.
2. Create temporary chains containing the phrases you're working on.
This matter has actually been discussed some time ago and if I remember
correctly a key combination to achieve what you ask for was voted down due to
inconsistencies if the different chains in a row contained different amount of
phrases.

Efni: [LSDj!] Re: Transfering to Carts Using Transferer
Unfortunately, no. Normal cartridges use ROMs for data storage, meaning they
cannot be written to, but the smart cartridges, usb, etc. use rewritable memory.
It's possible to make your own flash cartridge using a normal cart(
http://www.reinerziegler.de/readplus.htm#Home ), but unless you really want a
project, I suggest simply buying one.

Hey, I was wandering:
Is it possible to transfer LSDJ and other music making programs
via Transferer II to a normal gaming cart? or does it have to be
the smart cart/USB cart?

Hi!
So the time has come where kids want to swap LSDj songs on the school
yard, instead of Pokemon? Amazing.
This has been requested before (as have link transferring of clipboard
contents) but I never got to it.
If you can settle for swapping the entire contents of the cart, the
Mega Memory Card can be a solution. They are cheap on eBay.
Thanks,
Johan

Hi,
this feels a little weird to me. But it seems someone is complaining
to eBay in my name, to remove auctions with Little Sound Dj
cartridges?
If that someone can read this... Please just report those auctions to
me, instead of writing to eBay on my behalf.
Thanks,
Johan
