or get a c64 midi cart off ebay, and a star commander lead download the triad midislave prog and save it to a c64 disc, load it in your c64 and bingo you have ...
You should try out M64 for the C64 instead. A whole lot more powerful than Midislave. It's like a script language where you can assign small scripts to events...
