You can control the wave channel, but only with Kits. And all octaves are usable with lsdjmc2!
I don't remember how I did it, but I have definitely used the WAV synth with the keyboard interface. I have no idea what I did to get it working since it was 2 years ago. I know the channel had to be playing... I'll check it out tonight. But I'm 100% sure it's possible. I'm at work and yahoo group pages are blocked by our web filter but if you search the lsdj group, I believe I was involved in some discussion way back where Johan acknowledges this and says he doesn't plan to implement noise channel support because it wouldn't be very useful.
