The usual way is to leave a link cable hanging out of the box rather
than sldering a plug plug to the board. Any cable will do really, just
make sure that you choose the right type (GBC or DMG, that is small or
big)

I couldn't find where to buy them, but you can get 3 in a nintendo "four player adapter" ;) bill...
