How did you make the multiple cable? Did you split the cable? Or did you
use the 7414 circuit. Are you sure you made the cables correctly?
I know about some grounding issues when you are not using batteries with
the gameboy.
I use it since years now and it was only once my gameboy crashed with
it. And that was also cause the battery was not well in the gameboys.
But i had already 2 crashes with losing data without any interface. But
these were old versions of lsdj with known issues.

Sorry to hear that you lost data.
