Open Letter to Yahoo:

The owner (and sole moderator) of this group, Leslie Liao
(laosaowan), abandoned it 7 years ago. All emails to her addresses
bounce. Emails to "group owner" are never answered. In the group
itself, she is listed as a bouncing member. The problem has been
reported to Yahoo numerous times. Without a moderator the group is
now filled with spam, largely pornographic. This is an insult to
Luciano Pavarotti to whom this group is dedicated.

By failing to address this Yahoo is also violating its own terms of
service. Yahoo's inaction is directly responsible for the following
violations which are occurring in this group on a daily basis:

1. uploading, posting, emailing, transmitting or otherwise making
available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional
materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes,"
or any other form of solicitation

2. uploading, posting, emailing, transmitting or otherwise making
available any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening,
abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous,
invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or
otherwise objectionable;

3. uploading material which could harm minors in any way (this group
has open archives and is not listed as an adult group)
