Good morning Jim! Instead of giving you Domingo's usual address,
which is in Germany, I think you should do what I did; write to him
at the Met, where he is currently starring in in an opera (I can't
recall which one) as well as directing another (again my memory fails
me). The address there: Metropolitan Opera, 88W. End Ave., New York,
NY 10023. This address should be used only for letters, requests for
photos should be directed elsewhere. Your best chance of actually
reaching him personally comes if you write in your own handwriting,
mentioning something specific, ie; a concert you attended, a role you
enjoyed, a charity he supports, or a CD you most appreciate. You
hardly need to flatter him, he gets thousands of letters which do
that, but a sincere, heartfelt expresion of appreciation is alway
welcome. I have addresses for our beloved Pav and for Carreras and
will gladly send them to anyone who wants them. But, because this
site has been compromised by pornographers, you will have to send
requests for them to my private e-mail. This situation angers me and
I hope it angers you also. It probably explains why this site is so
inactive; who wants to read that crap? Finally, as I suspected would
happen, the word is that the big guy has decided he is not yet ready
to sing his swan song. The tour is about to continue and he even will
return to the US! At least that is his current intention. HURRY BACK
LUCIANO! NON TI SCORDAR DI ME!
