It breaks my heart to see these up for sale. I have a 5 piece Vistalite,
24" bd, 13" mounted, and two 16" FTs. If I was still actively playing in a
band, I would jump on buying your set and configuring a double bass monster
set. I'd mount your 14" tom on my bd holder and slip a ride cymbal to the
right of that tom. I can see it now, it would look great.
As it is, my set is sitting underneath my steps. I can set it up in about 5
minutes, but there's something about drums. The last time I sat behind
them, I felt foolish. I could barely play the "Walk this Way" intro. I used
to use that for my warm-up. I still keep my set b/c of my son, who insists
that someday they will be his drums. We'll see about that.
Anyways, nice kit, I wish I could bid/buy them, but not in 2004. Maybe in
2020 <or so> when the kids are out of the house and I'm looking to join a
90s retro band! <grin>
