Knew I was forgetting something....thanks Larry.

The set is light blue VistaLite and I purchased it back in 84-85 from a
local bar band drummer in Toledo, OH that was upgrading his set. Of
note...the drummer had reportedly played the set while a member of the
country band "Alabama" prior to them hitting the big time...have no way
to confirm, but that was his story...and he was a damn fine drummer, so
anything is possible.

I remember replacing all the heads within the last 2-3 months of playing
with 'silver dots', so the heads are only lightly played and in pretty
good shape. I know the set is in good shape, with only minor wear and
tear from moving around for different events...mostly played while I was
in high school, so pep bands and such. The set has a lot of memories
wrapped up in it, but with no activity for so long, it's time for the
set to find a good home and active use...it's too nice to sit boxed up
in the basement.

If the rain stops this weekend, I'll unpack the pieces and take some
photos and put them on the group site.

Looking for interested parties to buy my Ludwig Vistalite set. 5 piece
set
(Bass, snare, floor tom, 2 mounted toms) Zildigen high hat and two ride
cymbals. All drums are in great shape, as they've been packed up and
not
touched in about 12 years. Will unpack and take photos for anyone
interested this weekend. I live in Columbus, OH and am willing to drive
a
reasonable distance to meet and sell to avoid trying to package and
ship.
Please contact me at mvilla@... or the number below with any
questions. I'm not sure of pricing at this point, as I've been out of
the
loop on what sets are going for currently, so I'll start with $1200 or
best
offer for the set.

Thank you.

Hey, Mike
How about a description of the set other than the drum size. Year,
colors,
heads, etc. Thanks and sorry you have to part with it. I hope it goes to
a
loving home. These are special drums from a special time.
Best wishes.
Larry Hammond
