Big thanks for your reply but I seem to have done an ok job all those
years back and did in fact merely improve the bearing edges rather
than re-profiling them incorrectly as I first thought, mind you if
you do have a look and find something else please let me know.
I agree with you re: good heads, I think obviously we all go for
clear heads, possibly Remo Blackspots do we not, a la Bonham?
I reckon coated Ambassadors or even Emperors really would be a better
head for the sound, but then we have clear drums with white heads???
We are mere slaves to fashion my mate!
