In my humble opinion - if the shells are not showing signes of stress,
i.e. cracks around tension areas then they should be a good purchase
for 500. I have had vistalite blue concert toms (10, 12,13,14,15 & 16)
since 1973 and other than my own inability to ever ever tune them just
right...I love them. Honestly though mine sound great but I'm changing
the pitch....just can't leave them alone. What the heck right?? -
there's only one head to tune :>
