This is how most of them are. If you are real into the bearing edge thing I would sugest to look up some drum repair shops and have the bearing edges re done....

I agree. The kit is a "modern" replica close enough for me. I don't want cracking due to the cymbal and tom mount on the bass drum as Bonzo had to deal with....
