Aha!
Lungs of a Giant!
Nimbus!
The Sick Passengers!
The LOAG Alliance presents
An Evening of Rock 'n' Jollificated Revelry on Wednesday, May
22nd at The (very FREE) Charleston on Bedford Ave. in Brooklyn.
The festivities start up their engines at 8pm. And The
Charleston is sooooo easy to get to by subway: Take the L to
Bedford, walk up stairs, look across street katycorner and
witness The Charleston in the middle of the block. So free and
easy. Like shampoo in the modern age.
And let's not forget to mention the line-up...
Lungs of a Giant has assembled the finest in new rock energy
manifested in the form of musical soundwaves of audio pleasure.
Firstly: The Sick Passengers swoop down and snatch you out of
your nests with their guitar and drum claws at 8pm. The Sick
Passengers are currently touring extensively throughout the
region --they are your new heroes.
Then Lungs of a Giant do the war dance at 9pm complete with
shaking, burning pine cones and thundering, promising cumulous
clouds.
And, mounting the stage at 10pm, the ever-lovin' Nimbus will
knock your heart down a flight of stairs and then play hopscotch
with the pieces. Nimbus is furiously fun and fresh from
Scranton, PA. They will rock rock rock you.
The light show might give you the Fear, but no worries: the old
Polish guy running the gizmo is full of love. He used to play
accordian for strippers back in the day.
