We would like to remind you of this upcoming event.
...jab jab Knock Out! at Knitting Factory Jan 7 & Southpaw on
Jan 9
Date: Thursday, January 9, 2003
Time: 11:00PM - 12:00AM EST (GMT-05:00)
Lungs of a Giant bum-rushes the new year by musicifying the
Knitting Factory's Alterknit Theatre stage (downstairs) on
Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at 9pm.
We open up for Hula (with whom LOAG recently played a sprightly
show at Luna Lounge). Hula are the ones responsible for pulling
us on-stage on this night, so give them a round of applause and
buy them plenty of booze.
Also performing: The Sems. They've been playing around the
town's swankier digs also. Good company.
This will be our first venture onto any stage at the prestigous
Knitting Factory, so please find a babysitter. And bring this
babysitter along with you --s/he knows the way.
Knitting Factory is at 74 Leonard Street, south of Canal Street.
If you're new to the Knitting Factory then LOAG will be happy to
show you around.
Also:
Lungs of a Giant proudly announces that we will be taking the
stage of Southpaw home with us after our first show there.
Thursday, January 9, 2003 @ 11pm
Southpaw is in Brooklyn, NY.
Find it yourself at 125 5th Avenue between Sterling and St.
John's Place in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
$7 gets you into a whole kit 'n' caboodle of Thursday
flooforall.
And it looks like other bands will be playing. Low Beam is one
of them. So that's an added value, or something.
