These folks over at the zine The Deli have got a "Best Music in NYC
for 2005" poll going on and we of Lungs of a Giant hope all of you
vote for us!

The thing is you have to vote in each category (Best NYC Rock Artists
of 2005; Best NYC Folk Artists of 2005; Best NYC Label; Best NYC
Scenemaker [someone who has done a lot for the scene], you can't just
vote for LOAG once or your vote won't count.

Here's what The Deli has to say about it:
NYC music lovers,

From now until January 7 each one of you can vote for the Best NYC
Artist, Label and Scenester of 2005 directly on The Deli's website
(http://www.thedelimagazine.com).

Vote early and vote often, using our "post a comment" button.  We'll
get back to you with the results after January 7, when we'll close the
polls.

After January 7, the day the polls will close, we will compile a "Best
of NYC 2005 List" with links to mp3s and websites.

Lungs of a Giant have finally scored a slot in the annual CMJ
Festival in NYC!

Just in time for our super-charged, mega-blast (but abbreviated
to 30 minutes for maximum power) setlist!

We're playing at 6:30pm (early show! bring the kids!) at Ace of
Clubs, which used to be Acme Underground, but that name was too
ironic and the NYC Dept of Irony fined them into bankruptcy.  So
there you have it.

9 Great Jones Street, between Broadway and Lafayette.  South
side of the street.  Should be below what used to be, and might
still be, a cajun restaurant.

$10 at the door, or flash your CMJ badge-thingee and be all "I'm
with the press!"
