ok, so I'm in competition band, and our director is "trying out" this
years fall music on us now to see how it sounds..
we are a very good band, have been to plenty boa regionals, and grand
nationals... but for the protection of our show, I won't tell you
where I'm from =p
but some of what we played today was russian music, he said there were
parts from "Blue Shades"
I had never heard of it before, but I thought is sounded cool, and it
was fun to play on my saxophone :)
I was wondering if anyone had any more information about this "blue
shades" or has a recorded copy, because I've searched on yahoo and
youtube both and haven't found anything on it... ( not to mention
other sites too)
