Hello,
I'm brand new to this list and I'm here because I have a severely autistic,
non-verbal eight year old son who loves marching band music. He can't speak
at all, so I've figured out this passion of his by observing how happy and
attentive he becomes whenever he sees or hears a marching band or a military
march. It's quite a miracle to me because he even dances and sways to this
type of music and there isn't anything else on this planet that seems to
hold his attention. I've been searching for video footage of marching
bands, but haven't had much luck. Does anyone have any suggestions? Your
feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I've just ordered Tim Lander's "Tune Buddies - Here Comes a Marching Band"
from Amazon.com, but it's the only item that I've found so far and I'm
looking for more options in case this one is a stinker. He seems to like a
less polished marching band ie school bands and non-professional military.
Don't ask me why.... I'm just going on observation.... :)
Thanks and regards,
Lydia

Subject: [marchingbandmusic] German Cavalry Marches
Hey Gang.... I've got an old LP of German cavalry marches
titled "Hoch Zu Ross". I think it's great but purty nigh worn out.
Does anyone know where I can find the same thing on CD? I found one
site that offered it on tape, but I don't want
that .....Thanks....McCabe
