The first single from MP3 will be "Deadly Handsome Man" (formerly
known as "The Devil Song".) The single will start going for adds at
radio on Feb 3, 2004.

"Reality Vol 1.", the compilation album featuring songs from Reality
Entertainment's roster is now slated to be released on Feb 10, 2004.
The track from Marcy Playground will be "Blood In Alfoobet Soup."

Jimmie's Chicken Shack's new album is scheduled to be released in
April. It will include their version of "Paper Dolls". The track was
co-written by John Wozniak and Jimmie Haha and will also appear on
MP3.

The following is excerpted from a news item by 97X in Tampa, FL:

Lead singer John Wozniak told us the group and label are having a
hard time deciding what song off the 14-track MP3 will be the first
single: "We haven't been able to pick a single because everybody's
got a different opinion about it. It's cool." ("Deadly Handsome Man"
was finally chosen.)

Expect Marcy Playground to tour extensively following the release of
MP3. John told us he and the band are looking forward to touring,
especially since they haven't been on the road for more than two
years: "Obviously, we have to tour in support of it, which I'm really
looking forward to because we haven't been out on the road in a
while. The last show we did was, like, two years ago in Chicago. You
know, just getting the word out. Maybe doing some international
touring. I'd like to go to Australia. We did really well in
Australia. I just want to follow up on that success."

Dylan comments on why it's taken so long between albums: "When Dan
[Rieser] left us, we couldn't just run out and find someone to play
drums. We're too tight knit of a group. It takes a certain familial
chemistry, like we had with Dan, to make Marcy Playground. And
really,... that's what it is, we're like a family. We basically had
to bond with a new brother before we went any further. Gonz is our
new brother."

John comments about the new album: "Every artist always loves their
latest album best, and so at the moment, I believe MP III is the best
we've ever done. It rocks harder. I wanted to make a kick ass record.
And it DOES kick ass. I think when people listen to it, they will
hear the same heart that's always been in our songs, but with more
wisdom."

John comments about the new label "Reality Entertainment": "We feel
like we have a partnership with Reality as opposed to being one of
many bands on a large roster".

Warren Croyle, label President comments about having Marcy Playground
on the label: "We are thrilled to have Marcy on our roster. Not only
because they are already a proven entity, but also because I believe
that Marcy Playground is one of those special, original bands with
longevity who will leave their mark in music history."
