Just over 12 years ago Mark Heard left for his eternal reward...I'm
trusting that he is no longer seeing thru a glass darkly and that
the hunger of his heart has been filled.

5 years ago I found Appalachian Melody at a flea market, and I
haven't been the same since. I bought CCM LP's from about 1977 till
1986; when I got married that year, I pretty much quit buying,
though I was still a concert goer. I had never heard of MH till I
got that album, that album made me realize what I had missed, and my
quest for all songs Mark began. What a ride it has been, how
enlightening Mark's music is, I have truly been fed by one of the
brethren.
