That's about when I first discovered Mark. I loved Eye of the Storm. It
deeply touched me. Then I heard Ashes and Light. At first, I hated it. I
didn't get it. A friend and I would listen and aruge abuot what Mark was
trying to say. But we kept listening. Like a seed int eh ground, his
songs seemed germinate inside me and then suddenly spring up with
meaning. Soon I realized I had to give his music time to work its way
into me, to challenge me and hopefully to open me glimpses of beauty.
Grace and Peace,

"To find my home in one sentence, concise, as if hammered in metal. Not
to enchant anybody. Not to earn a lasting name in posterity. An unnamed
need for order, for rhythm, for form, which three words are opposed to
chaos and nothingness."
