If ever there was a Mark Heard song that was tailor made for Glass
Harp to play, it would be Mark Heard's "Treasure Of The Broken Land."
I listen to this song every day, and every time I hear it, I can hear
them boys playing it, and envision all the possibilities....John
Sferra laying down his steady persistent licks, Daniel Pecchio's solid
rock bass foundation and, of course, Phil Keaggy improvising all over
the place. The tail end of this song has some great beatlesque hooks
in it and it closes with some great instrumentation that is right up
the Harp's alley....how do I go about starting a petition to get the
guys to do this? If I ever win the
lottery I'll PAY THEM TO DO IT!!!!!
