Hey,

Well, I'd hate for anyone reading to miss one of
these so I'll take the initiative and post. Mars is playing out, and
there's several MA-related shows to go see as well.

+ Mars Accelerator is playing with my band, Terrene, at Chop Suey in
Seattle on 4/22. Opening is Black Nite Crash.

EP and did some clap-ping on it with his magic hands.

+ On 4/15 (this Thursday) Mars's old friends Welcome (fronted by MA
drummer Pete) is playing with Terrene (yay for us) at Graceland,
Seattle WA. They are truly fabulous if you haven't heard them before
(although I assume most of you have), and they've newly expanded to a
4-piece, which I'm excited to see. Opening is Lacey Brown. Again,
more info at our site. (I dunno if Welcome has one?)

+ Mary (MA bass) has another band that I like a lot; it's an
instrumental duo called Waves. They're playing with the also-really-
good Odessa on May 6th at The Hideaway in Seattle. Also playing is
Orphan Project. I don't think Waves have a site, either, but they do
have a Friendster account, which you can find if you search for first
name "Waves" and last name "Of." And, you know, we could all use more
companionship in our lives.
