Okay, I stand corrected. "Drunkard's Waltz" does appear on "Normal". I guess
the problem is that my copies of this album are relatively recent.

No, the only thing that was different when he performed it on the Smothers
Brothers show was visual. He approaches the piano unsteadily, as if drunk and
says something like "Wow, there's a lot of them!". Whether he's referrring to
the 88 keys in front of him or the numerous beer bottles on the piano is
unclear. As he sits down to play, the Flying Karamazov Brothers juggling group
enters
the stage. They pick up the bottles and begin juggling them in a passing
pattern. At the end one of the FKBs stack up all the bottles in a big tower and
carry it off. Then one of the others sets off the flash paper in the brandy
snifter left on the piano. Some tip!
