Hey all- Well, Im not a fan of social networking sites, but this seems like a nice alternative place, and easier to navigate. It has a forum and pictures and videos. So you can keep up with all my dates and such there. I will be updating Yahoo , but quite as often.
Only July 25th, Ill be going back into the recording studio to record "Sweet Tea" and "From The Outside Looking In". Both fan favorites. I will have help from members of the Meadow Street Band, and well as fantastic fiddler, mandolin, guitar, and dulcimer player Dennis Elliott. It will be done at Minimum Wage Studios in Richmond's Oregon Hill (right next to the cemetery !)
It will be released on 7" vinyl (45 RPM)and compact disc, and a record party will be planned for Nov 14th. So stay tuned!

The Charlottesville based variety show had me on just about 3 months ago, and now its in print. I did a few songs, and chat with Nick and Adam, the hosts of the show.
I come on in about 23 minutes into the program. There are slight sync issues with the video and audio, but its still pretty nice.
First, today is the 19th and its Robert E. Lee's birthday- so Happy Birthday General Lee! He would be 202 years young today.
A very nice new review (and the first) of my latest single has been posted on laptop sessions- a new music review site that features independent musicians.
Also if you like to keep up on further discussions- anything related to my music, or just a fun message board to hang around- I have a special Message Board as well

Hey folks, So exciting that the Loudoun Extra Blog has done a nice little write-up about "My Loudoun County Home". The song has already sparked a trifle controversy, but graciously, Meade offers that its not meant to be political in any way, but just an ode to his young years in the county
