Although primarily known as 'Amy Bob,' goofy spitfire and sole female
member of Grammy-nominated vocal quartet, THE BOBS,
Amy Engelhardt cuts straight to the heart of the matter - and the grey matter.
By turns provocative and pensive, NOT GONNA BE PRETTY is a collection
of 14 original songs written, arranged and produced by Engelhardt, backed by a full
band. As a pop and theater writer beyond the comic boundaries of The Bobs, Engelhardt
evokes artists like Suzanne Vega, Alanis Morrissette, Joe Jackson. and Ben Folds.
Sardonic and smart without mercy.
Co-produced by keyboard wizard Bob Malone.
