Good evening.

Top of the Seventh is a Washington DC-based male vocal group that specializes in tight harmonies, using styles that range from jazz to spiritual, from barbershop to rock and pop, in pursuit of fun and musical nirvana!  We have sung at venues as diverse as the White House, the Orioles and Nats games, weddings, trade association shows and private parties.  We were #2 in the Eastern Region's Harmony Sweeps a few years back, and have one heck of a regular and holiday repertoire.

See a couple of pix of the group below, and check us out at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Top-of-the-Seventh/108396302530904

If you can hit the high notes with confidence, we want you to join us!  Rehearsals take place late on Sunday a0fternoons in Silver Spring as often as we can get a critical mass together.  Looking forward to your response so we can get together and hear your higher register.

Yours in song,

Top of the Seventh

Baltimore Vocal Jazz Ensemble is an “a cappella pops” organization and we're looking to expand our membership.

It is a unique group singing five to nine part arrangements.

The music ranges from swing of the 40's to ballads of today and everything in between; Duke Ellington to Maroon 5.

Auditions are currently being held for all parts, Soprano through Bass.

The ensemble is currently rehearsing at “Oak Crest Village” located at 8820 Walther Boulevard. Baltimore, MD 21234; at 7:00 PM on Thursday nights.

Information about the group's Arranger/Director Joe Mannherz can be found at www.mannherzmusic.net or www.bvje.net

If your current choir/band isn't giving you the musical “satisfaction” you originally anticipated,

Or you would simply like to augment your vocal avocation singing fascinating arrangements with vocal percussion, give us a call.

For further information, contact Kathy at 410-935-4485 or kathy@...

BREATH OF SOUL has received numerous accolades for their stellar arrangements, sheer talent, harmonic blend, strong lead vocals and their original percussive style.  They are recent recipients of awards such as Audience Favorite, Best Original Arrangement, and Best Original Song at the Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival in both Chicago & Washington DC.  With write-ups in various high-profile websites such as Country Weekly and MSN Music, the group is consistently gaining world-wide exposure and recognition through their unique a cappella style via live performance and from recent videos on YouTube.
Members Jesse, Jake, Tony and David all have music degrees and bring their individual talents to the group.  BREATH OF SOUL brings a dynamic, energy packed show with impressive originals and great covers that consistently bring audiences everywhere to their feet.  The groups re-imagined versions of hits ranging from Stevie Wonders “Superstition” to Foster the People’s “Pumped up Kicks” (winner of CoverVote.com's Best 'Pumped Up Kicks' Cover Contest October 2012) are sure to entertain any audience.
