I took mine apart and super glued the block inside that the whammy bar
attaches to; nothing else. I also took the screws out of the flimsy
neck with an idea of seeing if I could reinforce it. But once the
screws were out it felt like one of the calculators I've disassembled
where all the keys and the little springs under them jump out and
scatter across the room so that you can never find and reassemble all of
them. So I buttoned it back up.
