Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that in USA Today's paper on 4/21
there was an article about James Otto. They mention that his new song
is combo of Ronnie's "R&B" and Conway Twitty's something or other. I
was very excited to read this and to show my friends because 1, Ronnie
is never mentioned in any media up here at all unless I call in
requests, (and then they only have his older music), and 2, It finally showed
my friends that he sings more than just country. ( l love his country
music, but I really dig his R&B). Anyhow, just wanted to share my
thoughts with some fellow fans. I vistit the web sight often, and I read all
the e-mails. I usually don't have much to say because it is rare that
I get to go to his concerts. However, I AM going to see him in
Sandusky Ohio on May 2nd. I got to pick out my seat online, and I am soooo
excited. It is only 2 hours from me. I have drivin up to 5 so this is
pretty close. I did get to see Ronnie when he was on tour with
George Straight and it was an awesome concert. It was also the
biggest concert I've ever gone to. We stopped at a small bar on the way to
the concert and it was the first time ever that Ronnie was playing on the
juke box when I walked in. There was like 100 Ronnie fans in there it
was sooooo coool. I am truely envious of all you guys who get to go
to the fan party. I cannot attend as my husband and I own a small feed
mill and we have to stay put during the planting season. So, please
take advantage of every opportunity to get together and enjoy his music!
Maybe I'll get to one of those gatherings someday!
