(forgot to mention) Make sure you run the wires to/from the outputs labeled
ABCD of course. the PIC in the ACB board doesn't care which of the four
inputs are which of the four signals -- it's just looking for change in the
four outputs and doesn't give two shites if it's coded binary or not. So
you can run A to D, C to B, etc. It's a no brainer wiring job!

Jeff et al, You can use regular ol' hook-up wire. You'll only need to run 4 wires - you'll notice that pins across these pin rows are shorted on the PCBs - P...
