You may have boards hanging all over hell and half acres, but...
Nah, I'm just joking.
The new features will be additive in the most part.

Of course this begs the question: Will a M1 be upgradable to a M2? :-)
There are some exciting things coming up for Milton's third
birthday:
First, be aware that built Milton sequencers in all flavors (to date
this means in standard silver/with mini's, Wiard, Buchla, Serge,
Modcan, MOTM and Dot.com lookalike compatibles) will be
availiable through Plan B (me) with a 10 week delivery cycle.
Prices for a Milton standard sequencer (silver faced with mini
jacks) start at $1550.00. Additional features and custom
faceplate configurations will be priced separately and on an
individual basis. Outside of faceplate variants, some of the
custom features built so far include secondary offset inputs for
each bank (transposition), manual and VC gate duration and
secondary quantized outputs.
Board kits will be available through Big CIty Music starting in
January of 2005. At that time, the ACB option will become a
standard feature and will be incoporated into the main engine
board, no longer requiring a separate PCBA. These new engine
boards are currently in design as of December of 2004.
Also be aware that the remaining Cynthia units which will still be
availiable after 1/1/05 can be purchased directly through
Cyndustires at http://www.cyndustries.com
Milton 2
Plans are being laid for the release of Milton 2. There will be
some exciting new features being tossed around for this new
release which will include those mentioned above (custom
variants), along with a Midi clock input and possibly selectable
stage enabling as well (the ability to turn stages off). More
details will be released as this unit comes closer to release.
The standard Milton (the one currently in production) will still be
availiable after this time as board kits and custom built units.
Keep your eyes peeled here for more information on M2 as it
becomes availiable.
