dont worry to muuch about the voltage rating, so long as it is higher
than the voltages in the circuit you are ok.
it sounds like you got surface mount caps? its easy to and solder them
(when the pcb is designed for smd).
if it is smd, place the cap on the solder side of the board. put a
drop of solder on one pad, then heat it up again and slide in the cap,
holding it with tweezers, til one terminal is in place. then you have
to get some solder from the other pad to the other terminal...might
need a little jumpwire or 'stretch' the solder across.
if you google 'soldering smd' you should find some step by step guide.
from memory this cap is part of the clock for the ADC chip so its best
not to leave it off nor change its value.
