Thanks to all for suggestions.
Perhaps Peter isn't in to the "start what you finish" maxim. I mean,
there's a website, it has an email address to contact for the PCBs,
but then there is no response. Perhaps putting "Milton" in the
subject line works, but this should be stated on the website.
He apparantly hasn't (or hasn't yet) followed up with Big City Music,
a real distributer, either.
I guess this is how genius works, but I'm just a mere mortal looking
for a DIY sequencer 'cuz I can't afford an SQ-10 or MAQ. I have so
far encountered incorrect parts list, possibly incorrect schematics,
maybe incorrect PCB layout, unanswered email, did I leave anything
out?
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Peter, I don't know him.
That he designed and is offering the Milton is very much to his
credit. I can't imagine making a living off of selling a few PCBs
here and there, so much thanks to him for this. But...everyone seems
to take the parts/schematic discrepancy issues in stride, and perhaps
I would too if I actually could *get* a Milton PCB and PIC.
There is hope, and it seems to be in the form of this message board.
But this board isn't much help if you can't get the PCB and PIC for
the sequencer in the first place.
Still...thanks to all for suggestions. I will return again. Maybe
Peter will too!
Hope springs eternal.
