MONEYPIT: "Mark", the Mark V   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #49 of 53 |
Greetings!

Last month I had the opportunity to check out a Mark V that turned out to
be just a stone's throw from where I work! The machine is in great
condition, with one bit of weirdness---the key retention bar bolts are bent
back. Now if anyone can solve that mystery...

The owner of this machine is John Bezjian, who has been working with analog
(and digital) gear for over 30 years as a musician, synth programmer, and
more. He has worked for Moog, Fairlight, Synclavier, and E-mu (scroll
through your E-mu sample disks and you may find his name). John has taught
synthesis and sampling at the UCLA extension school.

As a follow up to this June adventure, the Mark V had a surprise visit
today from the Mellotron Professor and the Mrs. (It's always nice to see
Jerry and Mali!)

Enjoy!
