This is a group for Monkeygrinder Records. Basically, we exist to primarily promote Gulf South independent rock music. We are starting a fully functioning record label and are promoting and putting on shows in the new orleans area. Tom Violence, Abner, The Fantastic Ooze, The Way Out, The Greyroad, I Octopus, Friends of Fire, Batchburner, and Mumpsie are some of the bands that we are involved with. This group is open to anyone with an interest in helping to promote local music, an interest in playing shows with us, or any fans of the bands involved. If you do not fit into one of the prementioned categories, we don't care very much, and you can join the group as well. Basically, anyone can join the group.
