This is a list devoted to informing people about live music events in/around Minneapolis/St-Paul of an 'under-underground' nature. 'Independent' but also of a challenging / experimental / weird nature. Music’s that could be included are no-wave, free-improv, experimental, electro-acoustic, free-jazz, noise, absurdist, drone, damaged electronica, avant-garde, collage, anti-music, cut-n-splice, post-articulate, stand-up, performance-art, out, rap, disjointed and damaged rock and so on and so forth. Please understand we are interested in covering only challenging and difficult music’s, nothing run of the mill (ie pop, techno, rock, rap, classical without cajones). As well we do not discriminate against ANY type of music, this is independent of scenes or looks more heavy on innovative and critical new ways of looking at the situation not based upon codified rules. When submitting a show please try and keep the filler to a minimum, as well, please do not submit your show multiple times. Information needed: Show title (if one), where, what time, who is playing (plus descriptions of said bands, PLEASE!), cost, directions, phone number for venue, warnings about neighborhood and drink restrictions, etc. and most importantly full descriptions of the bands. Because of the nature of the music it's hard to discern what should go through. As a rule if you don't give explanations for groups the post will not go through. This is very important!
