At least it's now out about that. Personally I think
Michael's a few Grammys short of his true take (two).

Poll: Grammy Nominations Don't Represent The Best
The nominations for this year's 45th annual Grammy
Awards are not an
accurate representation of the best music, according
to a
Billboard.com poll. A full 75% of 4,490 voters
expressed that view in
the poll, which closed earlier today (Feb. 10).
The largest percentage, 42%, believed that the
nominations are skewed
toward artists who have enjoyed mainstream commercial
success. An
additional 33% agreed, saying that a number of great
artists and
releases were left out of the nominations.
On the other side, 20% recognized that it's impossible
to please
everyone, and felt that the Grammys generally reward
the most
deserving in each of its categories. Only 5% of voters
said they felt
the nominations represented the cream of each genre.
A new poll asking for your choice from the nominees
for this year's
album of the year Grammy is already underway in The
Voting Booth.

nominated in some
of the top categories.
