According to Pamela Anderson's official site...this on the rumors about her
and Michael....
Since this was posted, Michael had backed out of the Bikini Charity
Tournament, reason for doing so not exactly properly known.

>Pam Responds to Rumor, Gossip, and Erroneous, Idle Chatter
>Hi guys! You know, it's amazing how every week there's a new story out
>about me or someone I know, in a gossip column or a magazine or just
>flying around the web. I hear some of these things and wonder who has

>tell you if it's true, or not, what the little bitty grain of truth
>might be. And, of course, give you the whole story, right from the

>So, here goes.
>THE FLACK:
>There have been some verrrrry interesting stories bouncing around about
>a certain soulful romantic crooner squiring the lovely Ms. Anderson
>around town - and out of town. As in the Caribbean. Yes, rumor has it
>that Pam's been spotted with Michael Bolton, sipping Mai Tai's at a

>THE SMACK:
>Wow, if only my real life were as exciting and romantic as my more
>imaginative fans think it is! Not that I'm complaining - I feel
>incredibly lucky to get to go to some far-out places and hang out with
>incredibly talented & cool people.
>Which reminds me - that's probably how this little story got rolling.
>I was in the Bahamas, for a Michael Jordan charity golf tournament.
>(It's an awesome place, with those beautiful tropical flowers and beach
>weather all year round.) Michael Bolton was there, among other
>celebrities who were participating in this big fundraising tournament.
>(I know, tough duty.) We went to happy hour after a day of golf, at this
>great little beach shack with a live steel drum band.
>Michael came over to my table and we gabbed for a while. I remember he
>was a really nice guy. But that's all that happened, guys.
>Later, when he visited LA, we went out to dinner to discuss an

>about my upcoming Bikini Golf Tournament. Sure, we dined at a cute
>little restaurant in Hollywood, but I love those charming little places

After seeing this, I thought: When this guy, who does have good tunes in
"Millenium" and "Loving Angels Instead" does charity work, he is raved and

and nothing he does that is good is reported. Not something I should be
thinking. :(

ROCKER ROBBIE AUCTIONS FOR CHARITY
The British rock star who is becoming internationally known for his constant
contributions to charity has auctioned some of his prize possessions to get
money for the one of his favorite charities, Give It Sum. Published reports
indicate that Robbie Williams raised nearly $400,000 during a recent auction
outing. He's also planning to auction a leather jacket he wore during a 1998
duet with Tom Jones. Sotheby's Auction House is handing the next sale on
April 10.

What's the URLfor June's page so I can keep tally of links that are or
aren't working. And it would be a shame for June's site to go the way of
the others--either just plain gone, or, as with the Bolton On-Line Updates,
merged with either the fan club or Gail's page. I thought Microsoft was
being split up for acting like that! <VBG>
When it comes to searching Michael's albums for promo links, one fan site
came up more times than even the fan club--Michael Bolton On The Net. But
there are two different links to it (a former and and an apparently current
one)--which one do you have? Meanwhile, that album search turn up a trend
I'm not liking much--the Michael Bolton On The Net...EVERY setion link gets
listed, but that I know of search engines don't want you to do that. Even
the fan club doesn't do that. Not sure what is going on there.
Have we thought of ing up a webring of our own? I had my page listed with
"official" webring, but the ballcap insignia wouldn't show because with
WebTV you need the entire URL for the image (the text imedding doesn't
work). I tried to email the webring owner to no avail. Maybe we can come
up with something usable for all.

Michael got a mention about his upcoming appearance at this year's Dinah
Shore tournament. Whatever happened to the plugs for appearances 1 and 2?
Terrie

NABISCO CHAMPIONSHIP CELEBRITY PRO-AM TO CELEBRATE 30 YEARS OF GOLF, GLAMOUR
AND GOOD TIMES
Thirty years ago, the marquee for the first Celebrity Pro-Am at Mission
Hills Country Club read like the Academy Awards, with no less than Rita
Hayworth, Ray Bolger, Frank Sinatra, Clint Eastwood and Lawrence Welk
sharing top billing with Dinah Shore. Also joining Dinah and her friends
were Jackie Coogan, Vic Damone, Dolores Hope, Deacon Jones, Chuck Connors,
Andy Williams and Mousie Powell.
Times have changed, but not the tournament's tradition of presenting some of
the biggest stars in Hollywood, sports and music. And this year's Celebrity
Pro-Am will be no different with nearly 30 stars scheduled to play in the
annual funfest, set for Tuesday, March 20, and Wednesday, March 21.
Back for his third appearance in the desert is soul singer Michael Bolton,
who will be joined by the first man on the moon, Neil Armstrong. The former
astronaut is making his Nabisco debut at this year's event.
Also on tap are such perennial favorites as Alice Cooper, Patrick Duffy,
Jamie Farr and Glenn Frey, as well as television stars Joanna Kerns, Robert
Morse, Wayne Rogers, Tommy Smothers and Bob Goen and Mary Hart from
"Entertainment Tonight."
The world of sports will also be well represented with Carlton Fisk, Franco
Harris, John Havlicek, Don Meredith, Jim Plunkett, Brooks Robinson, Gale
Sayers, Johnny Unitas and Bucky Waters. Soap opera fans will want to bring
their cameras to capture such favorites as Kimberlin Brown, John Callahan

Terrie,

Surprise, remember me?!!

Yep, I'm back online, for now anyway and I've received
this message so it gives me a chance to say hi as well
:)

Is it true that Michael's doing some concerts round
the country soon? Are you going to any? You'll
have to give me all the details, minute by minute!
Sorry for all the questions, just trying to catch up
with the rest of the world!

Speak to you again soon :)

love,
di.
