First time caller to the show.

I got inspired to sign up for this discussion group after seeing the
Eels in Glasgow a couple of weeks ago. I've been a fan since Electro
Shock blues melted my tiny mind all those years ago and ruined any
subsequent music I listened to which seemed emotionally shallow in
comparison. However though I'd bought blinking lights I have to say
I'd forgotten what an unbelievable musician and lyricist E is until I
saw him live. Be great to drink similar thoughts from the universal
ether as I haven't stopped listening to Electro Shock for at least 3
weeks now. Anyone know when a new album is due?

On a shameless self promotional tip I also release shamelessly Eels
inspired music as the Jim Muir Slideshow. Though we're essentially a
bunch of small minded cults we've managed to get a fair bit of
success in the UK with our debut album (single of the week in the
