I have recently installed Windows Vista, and I have to report that
the SCC-player for Windows does NOT function in this OS. Neither will
it function on Windows XP with the latest updates. I've tried and it
keeps getting closed down.

The question comes to this:

Is there any way to ask the programmer of the player to see if he/she
can make it work for Windows Vista? I'd like to help in any way I
can, I'll even install the C++, Visual Basic or what other platform
he/she uses to make the program. I mean, it's a considerable loss
(one I'm not willing to give up) if the program will not function
within the next-gen OSes. I'll even try to see if the source-code can
be rewritten if it's compatible with the new OS to see if I have the
skill to rewrite it.

I'm selling my MSX, a white Sharp Hotbit (HB-8000). The computer is
working perfectly and in a rare (mint) state of conservation, just
like new. In the original case, with all cables, manuals, books and
tapes. Also included are Nemesis II and Exerion II cartridges. I can

Guru Logic walkthroughs

The website MSX Valley has been updated with addition of 3 new
sections, 2 are dedicated to the fan adaptations for MSX of Guru
Logic, released by Compile/Aiky in 2001 for Game Boy Advance.

Although these fan versions are freeware products, they have been
removed from Internet on request of Aiky that could release in the
future an official version, based on the MSX2 fan version. In the
meantime, you can see all the screenshots, view all the tips to
resolve the puzzles on MSX Valley.

You can also download MP3 files, created with blueMSX, of the SCC
songs that are in the MSX2 fan version. MP3 files can also be found on
the 3rd new section, dedicated to Unicorn, especially on the page
about the Foundation 2 demo.
