Am I too old to learn   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #162 of 551 |
Hi everyone just noticed your group and thought I would like to join.
I have always wanted to learn the piano and with rearing 5 children I
never had the opportunity. I am 64 in a few months and have been
learning for 12 months. I find trying to remember all I have been
taught very difficult. My husband bought me a beautiful Digital Piano
and I don't want to let him or myself down. Maybe there is someone in
the group that is in the same position. I think I am desperate for
encouragement to go on with my lessons. My family is very supportive
but my friends think it's a waste of time and money. It is quite
embarrassing to come out of class and find 5 and 6 year olds waiting
for thier lesson. The children and parent look at me with thier mouths
hanging open and i can't blame them. Hope someone can help this old
fossil.
