Hi. I just turned 60 and decided to take a beginning piano course at
my local community college. There are a couple of "old fossils" in the
class. Anyway, it is great fun. It is a 2 unit class and it cost me
$52 for 18 weeks. Classes meet 2 times a week. For anyone who wants
to begin playing this might be something to consider. The school also
has practice rooms and you can go in a play/practice as long as you
want. I am having a great time. My community college also offers
improv and pop piano classes.
