* Able to play well - not necessarily virtuoso but well beyond beginner
* Able to learn and retain parts quickly by ear and converse in basic musical
terms
* Has professional gear and knows it well (could be hardware and/or laptop
w/keys)
* At home with realistic sampled sounds as well as synthetic or noisy/glitchy
* Wants to get somewhere with music professionally
* Into playing live
* Reliable/punctual/committed/easy to get along with
* Available for rehearsals at least once a week
